No one-drawing workshop fits all. That’s why at SketchRoo we tailor our drawing workshops based on the care home resident’s interests, or if you’re not sure, we’ll provide some interesting ideas to help you get started. Through the process of weekly or monthly group drawing sessions, participants are exposed to a wide variety of subject matter, drawing concepts, techniques, and exercises to improve the emotional and physical health.

FUN DRAWING WORKSHOPS & ACTIVITIES

On-site, drawing workshops and activities for Care Homes across Melbourne.
SketchRoo for Care Homes is a fun, engaging, and practical on-site drawing workshop specially designed for care homes, learning disability services, and day centres, for residents who may seek, during their respective free hours, some pleasant, time-filling, or relaxing activities. We offer a variety of single or multiple-session on-site drawing workshops and activities for aged care and special care facilities across Melbourne. Our experienced illustrators will work in small groups to help residents with the opportunity to explore their creativity in a relaxing and pleasant, time-filling activity to learn a new artistic skill, while encouraging socialising with fellow residents and creating some art!

Our leisure drawing activity programs are carefully designed to give residents plenty of opportunities to be socially active in a fun, hands-on, mood-boosting environment. The program offers participants a fun therapeutic recreation activity with relevant subject matter to spark creativity and increase sensory experiences and physical and mental stimulation. It is visually stimulating and mess-free!
